1. For the mathematically disinclined, the bonus is equivalent to a 20% rebate of tournament fees and about a 20x raked hand clearance rate for $2/$4 limit and above. It's probably a bit more like 25x at $1/$2 limit. It would take a while to clear the whole $650, though it appears there is no expiration date.

I will give UB credit for coming up with one of the more confusing bonus systems I've seen in quite a while. 10UP's per $1 bonus, but you can only earn 0.5UP per hand. Who thinks like this?

2. when evaluating bonuses these days, one of the more important things for me is the expiration. for me that's important b/c i have a day job and a wife and don't get to play except for a couple hours late at night. i know other bonus hunters can sit there and clear these quickly by multi-tabling, but i'm not in a position where i'm comfortable with that, so i am very interested in hearing about expiration dates.

i like this ub bonus b/c of the no expiration, so i signed up for the full $650. unfortunately, the expire times are usually not shown and often you have to ask support unless you already know.

from what i've seen, many of them are 90 days, some are 60, which is pretty hard for my schedule. i think the bonus at poker stars was pretty long, like 6 months or something, so that was pretty easy. i think doyle's room has no expiration. i'm also trying to finish a bonus with a pokerroom affiliate now before they kick us americans out, so it's hard to hear about all these bonuses popping up when i don't have time to play them all unless they have no expiration!

anyone else have some good info on bonus, esp. with long expirations?
